My adventures in Atlanta as I explore the city and post whatever things catch my eye. Expect pictures, random thoughts, and occasional bits of wisdom.

I am an aspiring costume designer currently sewing and crafting for my Etsy shop. Find me at www.etsy.com/shop/greyedout or on Facebook as Greyed Out Productions.

Dragon*Con attendees - it’s not too late to get a dice bag for your costume!  Greyed Out makes handmade drawstring bags that would be perfect for your costume needs, in a variety of fabrics.  Each one is fully lined on the inside and uses a double-drawstring closure, so it pulls closed nice and tight.  They also come with a handy loop at the back so that you can have your bag on your belt at all times - never be without your dice again!  The bags also work well for small change, loose items, even camera lenses.  I’d be happy to talk with you about custom fabrics if you don’t see anything you like.  Email me at greylikestorms(at)gmail.com or convo me on Etsy to talk options.  I think that these drawstring bags really are worth it, and they’ll last forever because I take pride in my craftsmanship.

Check them out at: http://www.etsy.com/shop/greyedout

Doing a bit of self-promotion.  The kilt is a Workman’s utilikilt in black, the boots are Doc Marten’s, and the shirt is sewn at home by me.  I find them to be really comfortable, and they make great shirts for Renaissance Fairs, conventions, Halloween, or even everyday wear.  The one I have on is 100% cotton, sized in an XL.  It is available on my Etsy, which can be found at etsy.com/shop/greyedout  - I’d like to focus more on period-inspired clothing, but right now I have a lot of miniature houses and drawstring dice bags and purses available.  Sewing and creating - it’s what I do.
