- Middle Earth dice bag by Greyed Out
My wife’s coworker made her a display board out of pieces of old wood, so I thought I’d use it to show off a dice bag that shipped today. I rather like it.

Middle Earth Map tote bag, by Greyed Out. This was a custom commission for a big Middle Earth fan, and I’ve gone ahead and also listed it for sale in my Etsy shop, because I think it’s incredible. The tote measures 14” wide, 16” tall, and 5” deep.

Middle Earth Map dice bag, now available at Greyed Out.
I have enough fabric for maybe 6 dice bags before I have to order more, since it’s a full map and I have to cut carefully to avoid having huge empty spaces on the dice bags. (Even Middle Earth has boring places.)

I find inking mountains oddly relaxing, especially with a steel nib pen. Done in violet ink in my Moleskine sketchbook.

That map that I’ve been posting bits and pieces of? You know, the one of Tolkien’s Wilderland from The Hobbit? This is the whole thing. It was *fun* to draw. I’m really pleased with the way the Misty Mountains turned out.
